WEDDING FAQ'S : WEDDING FAQ'S
Why should I choose 1Stop Studio to shoot my wedding?

Would you like a quality story telling album that is custom made just for you? Do you want to work with a professional who caters to your needs instead of making you conform to what they want? You don't really have a variety of packages and I'm not sure if you fit my needs. What do you have to say about that?
This is why I have the a la carte pricing. I purposefully didn't create a ton of packages because I rather hear what each couple needs and wants and create something that fits them best. I'm here to help you and offer a service according to your needs since after all the day is about you. I highly suggest if you like my work to set up a consultation. Even with a la carte pricing if a couple meets with me I can swing deals and give better discounts with things bundled together.
Why do you charge for a second shooter, when others include them?
The second shooters I bring to weddings are highly skilled individuals. Most assistants to weddings don't even get paid as they are "wannabe" wedding photographers and the head shooter allows them to tag along like a work study. I prefer my second shooter to be skilled with a well developed eye. I also feel they deserve to get paid for the extra work. When you take my best work and the assistant's best work over the course of your day it lends to better quality pictures in your album. I highly recommend having a second pair of eyes as I cannot be everywhere at once and the second shooter adds their own different perspective.
What does proof minimum mean exactly?
I don't have a set maximum per se but I have to promise a minimum so that the client has a certain number amount of photos promised for legality reasons. The exact minimum varies with the hours of coverage.
What is a retainer?
A retainer is the fee taken at the time of a wedding booking. It is not refundable. It holds your date. If your wedding date is canceled the fee may be used towards our other services. A retainer is NOT in addition to the wedding price but goes towards final fees due on your wedding date.
Do you shoot film or digital?
I shoot digital. There are so many benefits to shooting digital over film that I love. I use a professional DSLR and edit all the images myself. I take much time and consideration to each client. Our work is my passion and art and it's very important to me to provide the best to my clients. Digital offers more options and so that's the route I have taken. The prints are printed on the same quality paper as film is. With each image you have the choice of color, BW, sepia, or just about anything you can come up with. Film is more costly. You shoot fewer images and if you happen to shoot something in BW you can never have it in color. Digital you have everything you can imagine at your fingertips with editing, color conversions, and touch ups.
Do you do contracts?
Of course, I use contracts for all my weddings.
Do I have a choice of a different album if I don't like the one you use?
Before your wedding day if you want a different style of album, that can be arranged. We're here to cater to you. Though it may cost more if the style you like is a more expensive album then the one that is included.
I really like those coffee table books that are so popular right now. Why don't you have much pricing or information on those on the website?
The options on these fabulous albums are endless not to mention the companies that put them out. In order not to make things confusing and overwhelming I keep my product offerings simple on my website. If you want to know more about them, please feel free to contact me. Styles vary from company to company along with sizes and cover choices. I'd have a list pages long. It's easier to figure out what each bride and groom wants and find what best fits them then overwhelming them with an entourage of information.
